Hi! Here's the newest collab by James and me :D

he thought he'd had a wet dream
it was night time enuresis
so he went back to sleep
back to sailing the seven seas
in his dreams he could do anything
in his dreams he could be superman
he thought it was tuesday
so he stayed in bed
they all wondered why he didn't come into work today
in his dreams he could go anywhere
in his dreams he could be buster keaton
lost in his own world
feet firmly on the clouds
he didn't see the car come
he wished he'd stayed in bed
he could be anywhere
in his dreams he could be superman
and stop the car
in it's tracks

Oh well ........

Tangled Wires

Sweet song...really like the sound of the keyboard harmonica, such a simple addition but adds so much weight to the song.

Listening on headphones and I am picking up how good the stereo panned Ukes sound and the slight echo on Jim's vocal also helps fill the sound out too.

Onto third listen...it is very infectious and makes you want to hit the play button right after it finishes and have a feeling this tune is going to be stuck in my head all afternoon now.

Fantastic collab Gents!

Fantastic stuff boys.......puts me right into a zone....the vocal melody is so strong, against the beautiful clear music........gigantic song.

A beautiful song guys.

Love the panning and mixing of the Uke and the keys suspended through out.

Jim's vocal delivery catches your attention and has you hanging on every word.

Very expressive piece

Thanks for listening and comments guys! Great job on the lyrics, James. Now, I got the point when you added them on the lyric box.

I recorded two tracks of strummed and two tracks of finger picked ukes, panned on different ways. I used "Geir-settings" on them. Can't remember the message where you can find them, but it is as user patch on my BR-80. I have recorded the latest acoustic guitars/ukes on that setting.

(Off topic:Lately, I haven't been able to play guitar properly, because I broke my index finger on 14th March. It was  on the left hand, and fortunately I'm left handed, so however I could strum on the left thumb. Now, it is better, a bit stiff, tho. Picking is still challenging, except on uke.)

Wow, what a beauty - love the uke and melodica on this. The lyrics and vocal delivery fit in perfectly with the arrangement, too. Love it!

(Kari, sorry to hear about your broken finger…hope it all heals up quickly).
