This one has been a long time coming (me being slow). I suggested this ages ago as listening to Kenny's posts remind me very much of Gun's original singer and this is one of my all time favorite songs. Plus Gun are from Glasgow :) Kenny's nailed it, love the sound of this and the harmonies - brilliant job Kenny!

This song is definitely in my top 5 favorite songs ever, I first heard this in a record stop in Bournemouth, asked who it was and bought the album, which I'd never done before. If you don't know GUN (this band should have been massive), listen to their first 3 albums, all fab. Best known for their cover of word up.

I did the guitars, bass and drums, Kenny the vocals - and the mix.

Great cover guys - some good guitar in there and a great vocal. Saw Gun in 1989 - one of the support bands for Simple Minds at Wembley.  The other band was Texas.  Swagger is still one of my favourite albums. Nice one !

Thanks for all the lovely comments all - appreciated.

Pete - would have loved to see that gig. Of course, Texas's lead singer (Sharleen Spiteri), is GUN's lead singer (at the time - Mark Rankin) cousin! :-)

Swagger is a great album, as is Gallus - but I always loved the songs on Taking On the World. I also love the track Crazy You, but that's quite a different style.
