Another stellar post. Haven't listened to Zeppelin in a while except for the odd bootleg or two.  I think I'm going to break out Physical Graffiti today.

I'm going to throw out a couple tunes I thought might well for you live. I can hear you Hookifying them.  Won't hurt my feelings if they're not your cup o' tea.

"Blue, Red, and Grey" by The Who - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1kgqJuDUv4

"Luckiest Man" by The Wood Brothers - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upn7EDWqNxI

Take care.

Nice rendition, Hookster.

And a great vocal. Resonant.

I may have to acquire one of those uke device-thingies. Any recommendations for a good one?

I didn't hear that birdsong first time I listened.  Now I'm listening on headphones, OMG!  Beautiful version.

Excellent version Hook! Your Uke and voice go so well together. I vaguely remember this song so I can't recall how the solo goes in the original but your solo work fits like a glove. Cool vocal!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Yeah, this is lovely. I like this song a lot and sometimes with covers you're doing nothing but comparing to the original and no matter how good someone does with it you know it'll never be the same. But this. I genuinely loved listening. The vocal performance got me and using the uke could have been silly but it's not. It works very, very well. Good performance. You obviously dig this song as it comes through in your performance.
