Then the Wah!! Wah!! was released.............
Twisted in misery
the devil said fly
so i sprouted wings
the devil said cry
so i cried a pool of tears
i did what ever he said
cause i was trying to get him
out of my head
out of my head

i didn't know where i was going
i wasn't sure where i was
all the doctors told me
was that the mad dogs
were to have nil by mouth
nil by mouth

the devils rainbow rained down on me
the dreams were no where to be seen
then the train come
yeah the train come
the trainspotters run for shelter
the trainspotters run for shelter
when the rain come
the naked lunch
the naked lunch
went on
all day long
all day long

all that the Doctors would say
was that the mad dogs would have to pay

it was nil by mouth
nil by mouth
till you've paid
till you've paid

it was a crazy old world when we enter the wild
where the mind starts having
a great old time
a good old time

the doctors say that its nil by mouth
nil by mouth
till you've paid
till you've paid
till you've paid
till you've paid
all that the Doctors would say
was that the mad dogs would have to pay
till you've paid
till you've paid
till you've paid

Don't know the original
A lot of energy, a kind of rage in this tune!
The wah wah gives an animalistic thing to the song, the overdrived guitar is well performed, and the vocals are perfect for the atmosphere full of violence of this song!

Well done

The distorted vox really work on this one, no one can scream a song like Trevor.
Wah-wah is amazing, nice work on this bro.

Given this a couple of spins now and this is really is one of a kind, the sort of song that you cannot place in a genre pigeon hole...it is unique to say the least!!

I love the distorted vocal and how they sit slightly back in mix, it gives a real edgy eerie feel to the song.

The continuing soloing wah guitar marries up so well with the vocal melody..you got that Les Paul well and truly singing now!

Top stuff, a song worth listening to in it's entirety!!
