This is a song I have been working on for awhile. I have done all the orchestration in Notion on my iPad. The rest is me playing and singing the best I can. It's all recorded on my BR800. Hope you enjoy.

Stranger
W/M - Jarle
Electric guitars, bass, vocals, drums and notion arrangement - Jarle

Searching for peace at the bottom of the well.
Feeling compassion in the end.

Feel the landscape of his mind.
The rivers of thoughts are flooded with words.
He has the river to himself.

Feel like a stranger in a strange mind.

Reach the empty river bed.
Search the shore for sign of friendly words.
He is all alone in this world.

Walk along deserted gardens. Silent, empty drive ways. Images come falling, crush him to the ground. Crawling to find shelter, looking for a door.

Searching for peace at the bottom of the well.
Feeling compassion in the end.

There is room for all of God's creatures.
Right next to my mashed potatoes.

Sweet Child of mine... absolutely stunning Jarle.

The Notions orchestration is brilliant, as is the whole thing... it's in a state of perceptual motion.

I agree with the zappa reference.

This is off the scale! So much beautiful detail to absorb, and the arrangement is stunning. Can't work out how you can even imagine something as complicated and expansive as this. The variations are mind-blowing. Especially loved that tight riffed part around 3:20 and how it breaks down into the flute and final anthemic coda.

Unbelievably fine work!
