Here's my 2nd recording as GuerillaHook Sudios & my 2nd recording using my dulcimer. I wrote & recorded this this afternoon in the van. It was kinda warm so I left the windows down, which of course means a lot of ambient noise, I choose to embrace it. All done on the Dp-008 dulcimer & vocals through the built in mic, viola is Thumbjam.
1 dulcimer (stereo)
1 viola (TJ)
1 lead vocal (stereo)
3 back ground vocals

of all there is (I gotta get me more)
of all that does exist (I keep looking for more)
Fill this hole within my soul
with more

Look Past
What is visible
Past the obvious

I'm looking for more
Have you seen anymore
I really need some more

Look in
deep within your heart
you'll find sadness & pain

What a lush, natural feel this has. A lovely combination of sounds that produce a really uplifting effect. Makes me think of a mountain top somewhere. Beautiful!

I adore folk stuff like this. It has a real celtic quality to it, lovely stuff!

Ah, the sounds of Appalachia… :)

The dulcimer sounds great combination with the viola which really adds to the flavor. It really is an otherworldly sound - that's what I love about them. Great vocals and harmonies, too…it's a winner!

Wow - this one hits the spot and then some brother. Fabulous sounds (I don't even know what a dulcimer is - but I recognise the sound) - really root-sy and spot on. Loved all the layers - and the multiple layers of vocals - brilliant.
