Welcome bflat81 and what a great opening song post! I think you've come to the right place to share and talk about music. When I was listening to your song (I dig your friend's bluesy harp and your guitar work) I was thinking the EQ presence boost at about 6k on your lead vocal mic sounds real familiar. Then I read you used a Behringer B2 and I said bingo! I have one also and realized the 6k presence boost is built into the mic.  Nice work on this song...post some more!

Hi John and thanks for the kind words! So you're from Geordie land ... I think Mark Knopfler and the Dire Straits are from there as well, some of their famous songs (like Down to the Waterline) are about Newcastle and the Tyne river ! :D

Hi Andrei good to meet you, and your totally right...Dire Straits are from my neck of the woods....Im from a Town Called South Shields right at the mouth of the Tyne...Newcastle is up river but not to far away....plus Im in Durham now small mining village called Stanley.
Heard the why eye man track before always brings a lump to my throat.....not really up on my Dire Straits, may well put that right.....another Dire Straits Track I love Brothers in Arms....Andrei if your ever in Newcastle ill buy ya a pint ...see ya later Marra....john..ps thanks for the youtube links Im gonna check them out later have a good listen
