only one chord was used in this song.

well here i am again
the one chord wonder who can't play guitar
my fingers twitching from the powerhose
you don't wanna know, it's a private joke

the sun came out today
it caught us all by surprise
and all the wasps and bumble bees
are gonna die tonight
well i nearly put my shorts on
but the goosebumps on my knee
an early warning for a cold spell
that never fails me

that snickers bar went down in two bites
no much bigger than a fun size
i'm sure a marathon was longer
when i ponder, the days of yonder

here comes the summer
or am i just confused
sunburnt in april
let's have a barbecue
or am i only dreaming
medicated reverie
was it the tamiflu
the doctor gave me yesterday

do you think it might be global warming?

This is brilliant. To create so much tension with just one chord.

Now that was impressive James.
I tried that once with 4 chords.

I do enjoy your creative and entertaining lyrics.

The lyrics, brilliant - I esp. loved the "snickers bar" verse.  Only one chord?  Whatever.  the music works very nicely.  I was thoroughly entertained, and that's what it's all about.

Greeny

Absolutely love the lyric. and the rest of the song 'aint bad either. One chord will do nicely when you're this creative and inventive. It all lilts along very nicely.

Gritter

a sweet little groove from a little blue tongue. Chipper and dandy.

only one man can write a song like that, that was a challenge ORH, and you mastered it perfectly

So true!

Interesting, the chord have a different taste along the song because the bass and the melody push the mind to extract different notes from the always same chord

Great challenge
