Had a great gig this morning wandering a country club in Sarasota, playing spring time tunes for families during their brunch event. Got there a little early and was able to record this LITLR on the 008. It's got a little taste of "ABC" in there also.

Oh, this is great. I love how your vocals sound so effortless. I don't know how the hell you sang and played that at the same time (or was it not live?).

I'm also curious about the gig.  Details, please.

Hooktastic cover. Lots of energy. The birds at the end were a nice touch.

I don't think of this as a Jackson 5 song because I'm more familiar with the Bobby Day version from 1958 which I have on a K-Tel album ("25 Rock Revival Greats") I bought in the early seventies.

Tweet on!

Rockin' version - loads of energy and pace makes this great - and puts a big smile on my face this dreary, grey Easter Sunday morning here in the UK. A bit of sunshine through music :)

Rockin' Robin/ABC on Red Bull! I like this energetic Uke version of your medley Hook. Great job of keeping all the words together on this. I'll bet it was a crowd pleaser...good one!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Great cover and mashup, Hook.

I remember both of these songs from the Jackson 5 days. Loved 'em both. In fact, "ABC" by the J-5 came over the AM radio waves and directly struck young cuthbert like a bolt of lightning. Really, really dug that song... :)

It was indeed live Blooby, in the car with the driver side window open to get the birds at the beginning & end. (Just birds ORH, I doubt they were Robins...could be though)
About the gig...The last few years I have been hired at both Christmas & Easter by The Oaks Country Club in Sarasota, FL. They have these Holiday brunch events I wander around the  dinning rooms & sing Holiday songs. Christmas  is a bit easier as there are so many songs to choose from. For Easter I of course do Peter Cottontail & then some spring time type tunes like this one, Tip Toe Through The Tulips, Teddy Bear Picnic, Doe A Deer, Supercalifragilistic...,& a bunch of other non-threatening family type tunes. I'm really there as a kids entertainer but it seems to be hit with all the families there. They also had an Easter Bunny (a pretty cute  & very energetic one), face painter & a balloon guy so it's a pretty big event. I make $350 for a 3 1/2 hour gig that I only need an acoustic guitar &  a uke for so it's a pretty rocking gig in my opinion.
Thanks again for listening.
Rock On!
