This song is based on a poem by Christina Rossetti for which I wrote a tune. The original poem was simply titled "Song" which was a little too generic for an actual song  :) so I gave it an alternative title from the second line of the poem.

Sing No Sad Songs For Me

Wow this is very different. I love the recorders and uke together, it works very nicely.

One minor comment is that the bass is panned hard right. Our ears hear bass differently to other frequencies, there's little directionality in a bass signal. It would sound more natural if it was panned to the centre. Otherwise, well recorded, nice melody and arrangement and a nice poem.

Very well put together.

Good point about the bass. I had been trying to avoid having too much going on in the centre but it didn't really work. I have remixed it moving the bass to the centre and it's a definite improvement. I've posted the modified version on alonetone.
