Yep, there are a lot of loonies on it no doubt.
It is not difficult to block them out, only follow the brands you are actually  interested in.
Also every major manufacturer, or provider of service is on twitter.

Fer instance a small music company some might know on twitter is  @Roland_US

And a few other companies, going on and on babbling about their products.

That crazy micro-blogging service has become a major advertising stream to reach ones customers.
Along with Google+ and that dreadful Facebook.

My Twitter account isn't showing up in any online searches (Google etc) - does anyone know why this is and what I can do to fix it?

dunno...

I've just checked, mine does show up on a googly search (as does a video of someone singing one of my songs on youtube!! hehe - I knew she was gonna do it, didn't know it had got filmed or nothing)
