Twitter?

Can anyone help me with Twitter - I had to delete my original account due to err my name change, and have finally set up a different account. Twitter keeps failing to send me my confirmation email. I've redone the email address, clicked the resend button, left it a couple of days, done it all again. Anyone got any bright ideas?

Have you checked your spam filters for trapping mail from twitter ?

Also could try creating and using a gmail address for your twitter account.

Not sure why you deleted your original account you can change all the details in the twitter profile
twitter handle(username), real name, email address are all changeable there.

Yes, but I had some tweets and retweets from other people with my old name that I couldn't get rid of so it all had to go - or at least I thought so at the time. Thanks I'll have a look at the spam filters. I've tried a separate email address.

Unfortunately it's not good enough nowadays to be f*cking funny on stage, but you have to have an online presence too - it's all part of the perceived package. Not exactly my forte!

                I think the name says it all.

                      I'm sure the word 'twitter' used to refer to fucking idiots, as in 'All that fucking idiot does is twitter on all day about energy and mass and squares'. I'm pretty sure that's what Erwin Schrödinger and Werner Heisenberg said. According to my nan, anyway. I distinctly remember her telling me this when all I wanted was sweets, or pocket money, or a definitive answer to how relative John Bull is in today's society. And this was only yesterday or maybe last week or something...
