What about the 1200 instead? It has everything the 900 has and more too, plus it probably costs less or a little more than the 900 used. I like my 1200, but I keep the BR80 just in case of a wobble. I do think the 1200 sounds way better on the recording front, but the cosm effects maybe aren't so good, I tend to use other outboard stuff for that anyway. Of course the drums are the usual hassle but I do like the loops. Just a thought.

Chip,
Shhhhhhhhh....you letting out my secret......I bought a 1200 from the original owner , who claims it was used a handful of times then it lived the closet. It's mint! It's for the music room upstairs. Simply because it's so much cheaper, I'm considering a 900 for downstairs. The 800 is going back in the box and on the shelf until I get a better handle on what I think I'm trying to...*LOL*........I can't seem to finish any project I start....having a 24bit SR-16 makes things even worse...*L*.......
Unlike wives, you can never have too many Les Pauls.

I have the original sr16 but find using midi on the br 1200 with it is, well easier for what I need, sort of....
