Started this one on Tuesday just finished tonight, done on the DP 008, ps02 as a mic. Not sure about the mix, I trust your ears more than mine. Drums are from both Drumjam & Garageband, took a lot of starting & stopping to get them synched up. Bass & guitar solo are TJ and the synth tracks are the animoog app. My only regret with this piece is I did the most of the tracks mono, I was lazy.
1 drum (drumjam world type set) mono
1 drum (garageband rock kit)mono
1 uke direct
1 uke micd
2 bass (did the chorus part on a separate track) TJ
1 vocal
1 animoog deep drone line(mono)
1 animoog crazy lead before verses(stereo)
1 guitar solo (TJ)
Past Yourself

I've got to say that lately
everybody else is making
choices that are really pissing me off
And I'm no expert
but maybe what you're trying to do
isn't getting easier

Do you have a set priority
Do you see past yourself

seeking out patients
I'm hoping that you will find your way
No lack of effort on my part
I spoke my mind but do you ever hear the words I say

Do you have a set priority
Do you see past yourself
Can you proceed logically
place your pride upon the shelf

Tripping over thoughts
tripping over words
Scattered in every direction
best intentions
don't always achieve results

Do you have a set priority
Do you see past yourself
Can you proceed logically
place your pride upon the shelf

Watching self-destruction
is never satisfying I'm
Often there's no option
Great seats but a terrible show

Nice groove!! Awesome guitar solos! Don't worry, the mix and mastering is fine...I mean Hookastic :) .

Well done, again.

The production / mix sounds fine to me. Love the clarity of the wide-panned drums and uke. This is a really cool song. He shoots... he scores! That descending vocal on the 'Do you have a set priority' parts is especially marvellous. Stuff like that just gets me.

So good.

Oh yeah, this is good. So well put together it has to be one of my favourite, so far.  Roscoe

Brilliant song bro. Love this one - love the animoog, the best app on the ipad by far, I just wish I could get it on the mac :-( This is mixed really well, lots of space and clarity, and excellent lyrics as always. Great tune, knocked this one out of the (to coin a phrase) park!  ;D

A really good song, with lots going on. Nothing wrong with the mix/recording in my ears.

"...Great seats but a terrible show"

It was this line that sealed it for me. The flavour of the song put me in mind of a lounge-singer in Las Vegas with the full-works backing them, and affecting a subtle dig at humanity to take-a-look at what they're doing.
It's almost reggae-ish in its feel, which is no bad thing. Well done H.  8)
