Cool. I've seen videos of that robot band before but I hadn't seen this one. It's weird that the guitar picks were at a 45° angle to the strings.

Of course, the robots are just an extra mechanism between human musicians and the instruments. A human musician had to create the music and program the robots to perform it (probably via MIDI). For robots to create music on their own would require artificial intelligence exceeding current capabilities in that field. Maybe someday.

They should make a website where anyone could upload their own MIDI file and have the robots perform it. The performance should be recorded to a video which you could then download. Wouldn't that be cool?
