But it didn't sell out in 15 minutes!! They lie....

I have proof - I bought my tickets at exactly 11 am. I make that 90 minutes, and if you were patient, you could still be buying for an hour or so after that. So how can it have been "sold out in 15 minutes"?!!!

My wife was meant to be sorting it out cos she was at home. But at 10 or so she gave up and texted me, VERY disappointed. I said "have you tried eventim?" ... yeah, yeah, she said, I was on all three websites...

But I was casually looking at eventim, thinking - well, there's still tickets re-appearing as people's aborted purchases release the reservations. Big batches appeared every 5 mins or so for a couple of hours... So I stopped working, sat on it, and eventually managed to type a security code faster than someone else did on a pair. I could have got singles easily, but I was holding out for two next to each other.

I wanted to go, but wasn't as disappointed that we couldn't. Mrs R was gutted though, so I went for it. She was somewhat impressed when I texted her "Guess What?" an hour later

EDIT: Sorry that sounds like I couldn't have been arsed either way... NO! I really wanted to go, but I was more "what will be will be" in an accepting kind of way. She's one of the few artistes that could possibly have made me want to get out to see them...

She better be good now!!
