I was all set on my next 80's cover for the fest then this Nirvana song came up and I had to get it out of my system.

It's the fourth Nirvana cover and the first I've done straight.  My three previous ones were Come as you Are in a Ska stylee for the Recyclefest (https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=12436.0), Heart Shaped Box for Dead Rockstar Fest (https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=18008.0), and Polly (https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=14418.0).  Actually Polly's a fairly straight cover too.

Love this song, and your cover is bleedin' marvellous. The guitar sound / tone is stunning, and the cello-like additions are very fine indeed. Love it when the wide-panned backing vox kick in. Beautiful work.

Excellent cover Nick, you have really captured the vibe of the original.

Whilst a lot of Nirvana songs are not too challenging musically, they are very challenging vocally due to Kurt Cobain's unique voice. Your vocal is stunning here, and there is a real down trodden angst to it, which is exactly how it should be.
