hi i'm new here so first hello to everyone! now my question-can you start a song playing with a footswitch? i'm thinking of using a micro for backing tracks to play live with drums and keyboard or bass but i need to be able to start it with a footswitch. i play guitar and sing and i've been using a boss dr3 drum machine to play live on my own. cheers

No, the Micro BR cannot be controlled with a footswitch. However, the Boss BR-600 and all the other BR series recorders can. The footswitch can be configured to start/stop playback and recording, or punch in/out while recording, or toggle insert effects on/off. You'd have to operate the BR manually between songs though to select the next song. There's no way to advance from one song to the next with the footswitch.
