According to R&R legend, on the Beatles 2nd US tour they got to go to Elvis's house and meet him.  They were taken to the living room and there was Elvis in front of a TV with the sound turned down, plucking a bass and singing Mohair Sam.  A couple of Beatles picked up guitars and there was a jam session.  The only time The Beatles and Elvis ever made music together.
Original hit recording by Charlie Rich.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Just perfect production, faultless playing, great double tracked vocals and classic Hooperesque backing vox.

Superb.

Bravo guys

Wow!! I didn't know the story behind this (nor have I ever heard the original), but you can hear how this song could have fit right in with one of the Beatles' sets at the time. And playing it with Elvis? That's some history, right there.

Love the production on this - from the bass right down to the guitars, keys, and drums. Great vocals, too - you guys sound great together.

Had another listen - it's fab!

Oh my. I knew it would be quality before I even hit 'play', but this is stellar. The performance and production really nails the Beatles vibe and is incredibly convincing. But it's just a great song to listen to and enjoy, regardless of anything else. Perfect job, guys.
