The title came from my wife
I posted the idea to facebook and a songwriter friend, Nathan Senner, came up with lyrics almost instantly.


My heart is pounding
I need something sweet
I'm feeling shaky
from my head to my feet
Always tired
No get up and go
I'm so damn hungry
guess my blood sugars low.

I sampled my levels
til my fingers hurt
I even got a bloodstain
on my clean white shirt
Been eating carbohydrates
so I don't get the chills
But still have to take these
damn Glucose Pills

That girl walked by
My knees went weak
Saw those curves

This is fabulous - It gives Old Slow Hand a run for his money and he can afford a drummer. This has such a great groove. I can't keep still and anyone who fits hypoglycemia into a song ain't doing that bad.

Great tones on the guitars too. That has to be a strat...
