well can't seem to get broadband sorted - its okay in the morning - and slows to a crawl in the evening - get 20K downloads at night, despite two visits from BT engineers scratching their heads. I feel very cut off :-(

Plus re-modeling the kitchen - so double whammy!

ouch that is slow, i just tested my virgin media speeds

results are download speed 24.00 mb/s upload speed 1.09 mb/s

seems slow for my upload speed, i'm sure it's normally faster.

my ping test was 28ms. no idea what that is tho 

oh and virgin are  upgrading my broadband speed  up to 50 mb/s between July 2014 and September 2014.

i have been with them since they where ntl and wouldn't use any other provider. if your area is cabled you should swap to them.

WTF? Snails are faster than that Bruno. What`s your server`s excuse?  You must have a wiring problem. I would have a rang!

That was when is was really bad - we are limited to ADSL which is 8M down, 350K up max. Not on fibre in the village, but its coming next year I think thank God. Have been on the phone on and off for the last 6 weeks or so, and BT are blomin rubbish. Its not great now - but at least its useable - we should get 6M, but getting around 900K in peak, 1 to 2 M during the day, at 7M at 3am!!!!
