am tempted to add more to this but getting muddy with whats there now. lol. i need to research dynamics and mixing and stuff.

it's cold in the rain
and we dream of the sun
is that too much to hope for
we're clutching at straws
but we're stuck in the mud
we've tried 2nd and 3rd and we ain't moving

but i can still dream

well we can't throw the dice
cos they're stuck to the ice
and our chapped lips can't state the odds
and we can't hedge our bets
till we clear all our debt
is that too much to hope for

but i can still dream

I really love the lyrics and took notice to the lovey way you sang the "dream" of the chorus line. That's beautiful.

sounds fine to me James. Love the sound on the snare. What did you use to get it?

i used drum loops that came with software on my pc. magix soundpool drumloops.  i used 3 or 4 different shuffle loops and messed with em, adding reverb and stuff.

Very nice pop song! Loved the chrystal clear sound of the electro acoustic guitar! Dream on...

Nothing muddy about this one James. Clear and crispy, and I agree, it doesn't need more. It's great the way it is.
