I already liked this, even before I pressed play.

Didn't know the original, (from Rodney Crowell). It is amazing how can someone write a lyric, apparently so uninteresting like the first time he hears a song, and yet make it so interesting, and something we can relate to.

Definitely, there are no rules for writing lyrics!
