I wrote these lyrics the other day while/after watching an episode of Modern Family of the same name. The episode had a lot of real human depth covered by comedy & I guess I tapped into the depth & not the comedy. Super funny show though!!! All recorded today, mostly around the house & a bit in the car on the MBR.

Great job, Hook. You're really getting good on those Yamaha drums. They sound great on this one, as do the vocals and the rest of the instruments.

I'm not familiar with the show but I looked it up and noticed that it stars Ed O'Neill (Al Bundy), so I assume it's pretty funny.

Nicely done Hook.
Dig that groove. I have to try the TJ bass.
The TJ violin has a sweet sound and really adds to the emotion / depth of it.

Great job playing dem drums!

Nice work Hook.  You've got that studio really happening.  This sounds really great and it's also a great song.  I love the mix of your voice and the quirky instruments you have arranged. All very well balanced.

BTW Do you like Husker Du?  I can hear you doing a cover of one of theirs.  A uke version I think?
