What a pity. Great player, i saw him in London about 15 years ago and he was great. That Spanish flamenco style is wonderful.

He was only 66.  That's too young.  I was listening to him yesterday and the day before.  I had no idea he had just passed.

This actually happened about a year ago. I was lucky to have seen him with the trio 3-4 times. McLaughlin used to say Paco had the most perfect technique he had ever seen.
