I turned a Ramones tune upside down, again  . At this time I did it on psychedelic way, I think...

I based a one man band called Zepulon for cover songs/videos. There's some clips of an old Finnish comedy film from the fifties. I added a few "psychedelic patterns" downloaded from the net... So, here we go. A Ramones tribute...

No, I haven't studied jazz, but I like atmospheric jazzy chords, like maj7 chords. When using them on "ordinary" major chord pop song, they easily turn to very different. I've listened to Nouvelle Vague and Richard Cheese quite a lot.

And Kenny...I love a lot of early Pink Floyd!

Excellent job Kari. A nice mix of cool sounds. The flute sounds very realistic. Is it a real flute or a keyboard/sample?

I'm not a big Ramones fan so I don't know the original, but I'm guessing that your version is a lot gentler on the ears.

This is superb, Kari...I love the reworking, and it's otherworldly-sounding alternate reality, in which Johnny Ramone can play major 7 chords!  Great vocals and the flute also sounds fantastic, as well as those backing vocals reminiscent of Syd-era Pink Floyd.

Trippy video, too - I love this!
