So I rediscovered this tune last night & thought it was a fitting cover for me to do in Chrysler 300 Studios.
Done this afternoon, LITLR on the MBR.

I love this song and this is an excellent cover of it. I think I've probably heard the Tom Paxton original a couple of times but I'm much more familiar with Arlo Guthrie's live version from the album "Precious Friend" which I have on cassette.

I especially like the part where he sings "Since the first amphibians crawled out of the slime", then stops to talk about how much he likes that line.

Anyway, great job Hook. And a great choice of songs to record in Chrysler 300 Studios.

Man this recording is so clear,is that Chrysler soundproof? as there isn't a single sound to be heard outside.
I don't know the original but this sounds very cool indeed.
Your voice is instantly recognisable ,it has a tone that is very clear and every lyric is always easy to pick out.
