Good version my friend.
Have you thought about double tracking those vocals, for that truly authentic feel?
IMO it could add another dimension to an already very good cover.

I had thought of doing so, I tried double tracking the single vocal, but I was belting it out in the car, really I need to redo the vox completely but time is not on my side...

Thanks for the comments and suggestion though.

This is gorgeous!  I love it...

Never heard the original but the groove is infectious... and I don't mean infection as in it's an   invasion of the body by pathogenic microorganisms, More precisely is that the vibe is contagious... but like a good contagion, a really great one in fact!  Enough analogies for me...

I just listened 3 times.  It's making me want to get a keyboard...

I'm going back for another listen.   It's like I'm quarantined.

Presses all the nostalgia buttons for me too. The arrangement and performance is absolutely spot-on. I wish we were 18 and transported back to 1980: we could have been a proper synth band!

Fucking hell - it's BRILLIANT! Need a second listen to pick up all the little details.

Very nice work, Flash. I'm quite impressed.

An effective way to get multiple vocal tracks from a single vocal track is to run it through a Harmonizer VST plugin.
With the proper settings you can sound like an entire choir in perfect time and harmony.
You can fine-tune stereo tracks individually, in one cent increments. Does nice things to vocals.
I use the one produced by Melda Production. Very nice software.
