Give yourself a slap and get back at it.  ;)  Something will happen but you have to be doing it for it tohappen and before you know it the Mojo will be with you again..remember when the old sailing boats hit the doldrums they rowed till the wind came back it wasn't much fun but it was better than not doing anything at all.. ;D

On a more serious note, maybe try listening to artists or genres of music that you don't normally listen to. I think one of the reasons we get into a rut musically is because we're always doing similar things. So trying something completely different can sometimes spark your imagination and get you excited about making music again. Likewise, trying a different instrument can be inspiring too. Lately, I haven't been playing my guitar much. Instead, I've been dabbling with my MIDI keyboard controller and various music software.

Maybe the upcoming festivals will inspire you.

Oh I know what you mean. I'm not gigging at the moment due to err personal circumstances but I am enjoying the break to do other stuff. You can't force your mojo but you could buy a new instrument/bit of kit (I believe you guitarists buy different err pedals), collab with someone new, try a different genre of music etc, etc.

Dare I say it, but it's a bit like sex - leave it for a while and you'll soon be desperate to get back at it again, with renewed vigour :D

I have been so busy, I haven't had the option to play much.  I did put myself on an email list to be notified when that Arturia Beat Step comes available (that I believe 64 mentioned from Winter NAMM).  It's right before my spring break, so I'm hoping for time and inspiration.

We'll see.
