was watching a bbc horizon documentary about nasa's planned manned flight to mars. used up every track on my micro br with this one.

50/50 we'll make landfall
that's what the calculations say
in 2 years 2 months and 3 days
we will know for sure
that's if the madness of isolation and radiation
doesn't do us first
and if we're wrong
well maybe in another year
we'll have our rendezvous at the sun
and even if we get there
safe
and still in one piece
there is no way of ever knowing
if we can ever
get back home

Wtf ..... James this is just fantastic. It is for sure my favourite of your solo projects so far.

All the work sure paid off.

My oh my !!!

I hear some resemblance to a MET track we did, but this is all you!

piPod bound for sure

This is a track PG would be proud of.

Brilliant James ,your on fire lately.
I have a vision of Peter Gabriel doing this and that mad band of his jumping up in the air every time heave  ho is mentioned.
It's so near Peter Gabriel it's unreal,a great wee tune mate and I love the nasa space chatter.

Yes, yes, yes.....very cool tune.  Nice job inventing all those funky parts that work so well with the concept.

This one woke up the child's Furby. Furby just kept repeating 'O-EM-GEE! O-EM-GEE!' and kind of rocking from side to side and love-hearts were displayed in it's weird LCD eyes...My only complaint is I now have to wait for the fucking thing to go back to 'sleep'... :D :D

Just wanted to say, this is right up my street. Great atmospheric sound. The tuned percussion sounds like something I would do. Must be the Gabriel influence. ps. Is it true Gabriel's teaching Gorillas how to skype ?

Jarle

Fabulous song my friend. I like this alot, one of my favorite of your songs.

Fantastic stuff! Vocals are sounding awesome. Yes indeed, I hear Peter Gabriel here as well, with a touch of Pink Floyd thrown in but with your own individual stamp on the song as well.
