Played this for my band last night just as they were leaving at the end of a late night.   Let's put it this way.....they listened to the very, very end and it was only through an iPhone.

The guitar solo in this song just rips!  Love it.

well son-of-a-biatch.........impressive heaviness rocking out here.  Great mix for such a heavy mix of guitars and all.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Just got around to listening to this and I'm well impressed. Great songwriting and awesome guitar playing. Those guitar tones are awesome. And the drumming is excellent too. What did you use for the drums?

wow wasnt expecting that, its such a fat sound, the guitar riffage is A1 stuff. like the vocals did you use effects or layer harmonies?

Thanks guys

The drums were programmed in the dr 880 but I knew I had to make them more powerful to compete with the guitars so I recorded them on the br-80 input and then copied and bounced the  2 stereo tracks so they wouldn't clip.

The main vocal is a modulation chorus effect. I sung them with an sm 58 mic from my line 6 hdpod. I sung the harmonies separate. I like singing them to improve my vocals rather than use a harmonizer. I saw a band the other night where the guy was singing with a harmonizer. It was a 3 piece and the others couldn't sing so I can understand but I kept looking for another singer. I didn't like it.

Thanks for the bump :)

Well, I think this has set the bar even higher. A top quality piece of work that deserves more exposure than a relatively small (but excellent) site can offer.  Respect.  Roscoe
