third one from my 24 hour shift, uke was gradually going out of tune so i imaged it was storm damaged.

the light breaks through
the clouds at last
the wind is dying
the storm has passed
we'll pick up the pieces
dust ourselves down
search for our memories
on broken ground
but there is hope
for this new day
so come together
gather round
come tomorrow
we'll begin
a bright new future
we'll build again
we'll pick up the pieces
dust ourselves down
create new memories
on firmer ground
there is hope
in this new day
so come together
gather round
pick up the pieces

Cool song James, did you use a click track on this?
I'm getting a cool vibe on this but there's so many things in my studios just now I'm getting swamped with ideas.
I can see a different window on this but it may or may not work.
If you did use a click track.....as an experiment could you send me a copy of it with just the vocal with  a hi hat or bass drum and ill open it up?
Nice sentiment by the way  ;D

I listend to this the other night I'm sure - where's my comment? Probably whacked on the head like me by some French Vintner.

Still - I've forgotten what it sounded like so back again - Here we go.....

Ah yes, slightly out of tune and dischordant uke -

Nice, simple and personal.  Brill.
