Just notices a short in my headphones jack.... >:(  If push laterally on the plug slightly or let the cord hang down I loose stereo. Anyone else ever had this problem? Does the end panel of the BR-80 come off easily? It looks like it is just held on by 4 small Phillips head screws.

A few people here have had similar problems with their Micro BR and posted pictures of the circuit board. The jacks are soldered directly to it. I imagine that the BR-80 is similar. If you can take it apart without breaking it, you can probably re-solder the connections. However, if your BR-80 is under warranty, you might want to let Roland fix it rather than attempting it yourself. In the UK, the warranty on the BR-80 is one year parts and labour, and will be extended to three years parts and labour if you register it with Roland UK within 90 days of purchase.

However, if it's out of warranty or you'd rather fix it yourself, have a look at these topics:

Thanks 64, My BR-80 is a little over two yrs old so warrantee period is over. I think I will need to find a computer repair shop since I don't know the 1st thing about soldering. If any one has pictures of the circuit board for the BR-80 that might be helpful. Thanks...

Did you not register it? If you did it's 3 years and would be still in warranty.
