Hi, this is a track from my 2nd E.P recorded last year.

I hope you like it

All of my songs are copyrighted and I own the masters.

Oh that's lovely and welcome to Songcrafters. How did you copyright your songs?

Thank you Hilary.

Well I own the master files for all of my work (my producer is good to me like that). I also have the © on my CD's obviously. I mailed myself one of the CD's as-well as the original music, lyrics, chord progressions etc...
even down to the smallest scribble. It's all locked away.

I'm also plastered all over Facebook, several youtube videos and soundcloud posts all stating various dates. So if someone was to try it on I'd have quite a case :)

In the UK you automatically get copyright when you create something. The above steps are "just incase" measures.

Thank you all for your kind words.

All of my songs were recorded professionally @ Monochrome Productions by a brilliant guy called Tom Gittins.
Ge was my college lecturer for music tech. I never really got the hang of the production side of things so I'd rather leave it to the pros!

I don't really know the ins and outs of how it was recorded but it was done using Logic and Tom's studio.

I have recorded both of my E.Ps there.

I'd like to start amature recording but I have no idea where to start. I'll have to get reading.

Thanks again. :)

wonderful sound loved it from the first note to the end.
u really have some talent there . congrats and welcome
to songcrafters.

ps. Might i suggest re copyright to b official in the united
states. it should b entered in the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS
for 35 dollars ea. also there is a site called Tune Core that
u may want to check into . they handle all copyrights royalities
downloads. etc. just food for thought. any questions give me
a shout cheers NEIL.!

Hi Neil!

Thanks for the comments. I believe UK copyright is automatically valid in countries who have signed the Berne Convention & the US are listed so I should be safe!

Apparnetly UK copyright is established from the moment you physically CREATE the idea so it has to have a physical form it cannot be an "idea". You obviously just need the proof to back it up.
