BR-80 Drum Arrangements

I purchased a Br-80 about two years ago but until the last couple of weeks I have just been using it as rehearsal tool in the eBand mode. Then about two weeks ago I was transcribing an Albert King solo and decided to make my own backing track. Instead of going to my BR-800 I decided to try using the BR-80. Read the Rhythm section of the manual and gave it a go... Was I surprised, not only was it easier to build an arrangement, but I thought the drum sounds are much better in my opinion. Most of the time I use my DR-880 or Band-in-a-Box real drums for my drum patches, and I thought the BR-80 sounds were better. Maybe it's just my imagination. Has anyone else had this experience?  Also, I used the Guitar to Bass effect and was also pleasantly surprised at the tone I was able to achieve.

I agree. The br80 drum sounds are fab. I do find them better than the br800 and MBR sounds, tho they are quite good as well.

I haven't used the guitar to bass effect on the Br80 yet, but I found it both useful and really good (when used right) on the br800.
