I actually never heard the original song either until years later, but I heard it being covered in a bar, by a guy named George Taylor, from Chicago.  He wanted to learn about photography (I was shooting weddings and stuff) and I wanted to learn this song so we exchanged some teachings. I don't play it nearly as nice as he did, nor do I sing it like him, but I just loved his version of the song.  The original is much different.

way of singing and the harmonies just fantastic. and I loved the guitar picking
