Wonderfully crafted song with great lyrics. Backing vocals sound superb too.

You can post as many songs as you like.  I love listening to you.  You just have such talent for writing songs.  Loved your lady friends singing.  You should write her a song and have her sing.  I feel kind of lonely on this site.  She sounded great.

You've always amazed me with your songs!! I love them all...I've showed some to some friends...always very cool!! Something about you being from London and me living in small towns in Nebraska all my life~~You're like a Rockstar to me....The first time I heard you- I thought of the Beatles right away, but somehow different in a good way---I'm really at a loss for words~~lol~~I like your one-of-a kind style I guess I'm trying to say!!

I really appreciate the kind words - especially from someone with a voice like yours. Your vocals are sublime.

The Beatles are a huge influence of course - I started with them from the age of 3, and now my 9 year old son is becoming obsessed with them too. But I have another side which is heavily influenced by stuff on your side of the Atlantic... The Band, Joni Mitchell, and Gram Parsons (to name but a few). So there's a strange British-American hybrid to what I do sometimes. Maybe that's why it's hard to categorise sometimes. I just love music, and that'll never stop.

BRAVO!!!!

tim - since i started listening to the music that gets posted here, i have always thought that when it come to being a singer/songwriter,  you're the crème d' la crème. i still predict that sometime very very soon, you will cross the threshold into that world where the music you make will completely make your life.

Another great song. Can't fault it - beautifully constructed, well played and sung, as others have said, the gf adds a very nice touch vocally. The new guitar sounds really good.

I still cannot understand how you turn out so much high quality material, but who cares, I love listening to it!

Cheers,

Nigel

If anything ever does happen, the BR and this forum will have played a major part in it. Getting the BR was a musical revelation, and the collaborations I've had on here have taken me (and are continuing to take me...) to a whole new level, creatively. It's not something I could ever forget  :)
