You'll have to forgive me for posting three songs this week. I did this one as part of the 'English Coasts' album I'm working on... it has all sorts of slices of British life on it. It's probably a concept album of sorts, but I get a bit scared by that label / term 

The real reason for posting this one is that it's the first time I've recorded with my new Tanglewood acoustic. I have to say that the B-Band pick-up system is amazing - it gives a totally natural feel even through a guitar lead.

Anyway, this original has two layers of acoustic, with me on vocals, and a little help from my girlfriend on the chorus refrain.

Man that guitar sounds good, rich, deep.  Very natural sounding for plugged in.  Crazy good song, the harmony with your ladyfriend sounds really wonderful.

Yes - it's an electro-acoustic. There's a bit of MIC on one of the guitar layers, but mainly it's all going through a lead.
