this song is dedicated to the late great Thomas Hansen aka Saint Thomas,

it is also dedicated to my norwegian brothers Geir, Jarle and Bjorn,

plus my fellow Norge tourists, Mike, Tharek and Tim.

specifically this song is influenced by a moment shared with Geir and Jarle on a clear autumn evening ( having consumed a large quantity of auchentoshan single malt) where "all the stars in the universe" could be seen from geir's hut in Bamble, Porsgrunn in Telemark (i think that is correct geographically).

this got me thinking  and i wondered to myself, if Thomas Hansen had seen the same view. was a fan of Saint Thomas before songcrafters, so going to Norway was like a pilgrimage for me. i wonder if i stood on spots Thomas did. i suggest you seek out his songs,  i am sure they will move you.

okay i'm rambling now.

i saw all the stars in bamble
i hope that thomas saw them too
i'm sure he saw them many times
and sang to them
yes sang for them
all the stars in the universe
just for us
i sang my heart out in bamble
i hope that thomas did the same
and even though i never met him
he sang to me
yes sang for me
all the stars in the universe
just for us
all the stars in the universe

Even if you don't get to do that it's a great song !!

I'm honoured to be on the dedication list. And I think so would Mr. Hansen
