not exactly sure what this ones about, came up with a chord progression and the first line, the rest just sorta happened, any psychologists out there can tell me the best therapy for me.

oh the song of the siren
the peril of the sailor
oh the power
of the deep blue sea
oh the longing for loved ones
so far away.............
but for our memories
let it blow
let it take us
to fresher shores
let it blow
let it take us
to fresher shores
oh the chill of the north wind
by the light of the north star
we will find
our way
through the mountainous tempest
or the still of calm water
whatever
they put in our way
let it blow
let it take us
to fresher shores
let it blow
let it take us
to fresher shores
oh the song of the siren
the peril of the sailor
oh the power
of the deep blue sea
fresher shores

Music therapy is what you need, so keep 'em coming. Loved the lyrics on this one Jim and the higher vox work really well. Nice chord sequence as well, there's some cool changes in there.

Good lord, this is good. Superb chords and one of those timeless melodies that goes just where it needs to. Very impressive, Jim. Now all you need to do is fire up yer MBR drums, add a sprinkle of that bass we know you've got and throw in a few piano riffs.... ;). Winner....

Thats a really nice chord progression, sorta reminds me of a real early Genesis song for some reason.  As Henny says, finish the bastard off, bass, keys, drums.........
