BR 800 transport buttons concerns

Just wondering chaps any of you guys with a BR800 had any concerns with the transport buttons not responding when touched , i have ended up power cycling the machine to activate the pads ??

The transport buttons can be annoying.  Sometimes they don't respond and at others you brush them when you are doing something else and you are recording over your track without knowing it.

There was a yellow info sheet which came with the BB800 that has instructions on how to adjust the sensitivity of the buttons.  I never got around to that and have learned to live with them.

Also, to my experience, cleaning the damned thing helps a lot. Just wipe it off with a dry cloth.

Yep, I've had problems with mine.  Sometimes it seems like it's just me because the problem seems temporary, other times I have to shut it down to get it working right again.  Not too often though so I try not to have a hissy fit when it happens.

Thanks chaps just a small issue i know but a bit annoying sometimes , i have adjusted the sensitivity down to 3 and give it a clean , might be my hands are a bit contaminated after using my guitars etc , to be honest its the only problem i have with the unit everything else sound, quality, use is second to none . Cant wait for the next BR

I find you have be a bit precise where you touch the buttons, especially with the four way buttons round the jog wheel. Also, linger a little to long or be too quick and they don't always respond.

The dryness of the skin on your finger will affect it also!
