I like this,

It's really well arranged and recorded.  I like the looping uke picking.  I like the change up with the big guitar solo and at about 3.00 it starts to head for home and then winds down nicely.  I'm not sure that the song is about but it sounds great.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Made me feel good. And I love the feedback.

Nigel, nothing gets past you. You heard everything correctly. The vocals do fluctuate and i never really noticed till all was done. I think they even clip a bit. I fixed as best i could. I always record vocals clean unless its a live recording. I think it was the compression setting from verse being softer singing than the chorus. Trying to figure that part out still. Not happy with those verse vocals but i had to get this done.
And yes i did use radio filter at the end and added a bit of phaser too so no matter what you say you have a great ear. 

I'm not sure that the song is about but it sounds great.

I usually don`t remember when or how i write songs but i got the idea from a show i was watching called The Shield about a murderous cop who wants to change and he called himself a new animal.

Yeah it probaby sounds sorta like Vai cuz i used a pitch shifter there. I`m gonna start using it a little more but not over the top.

Hot damn, this is just amazing Gnasty.

Totally hypnotized by the fingerpicking on those ukes and they blend so well together and with the hang drum - a mystical vibe in spades, for sure. Excellent vocals as well, and a top-notch production overall - you're getting the new year off to a great start!
