Need help with Audacity

Something has been reset in my Audacity and I can't find the correction.  I'm trying to record a demo vocal to a backing track that I've opened in Audacity. Typically I just hit the record button, adjust my mic level, and then record the vocal to another track. But now for some reason when I hit the record button the backing track is also recorded along with my vocal track. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I'm sure it's something simple but I'm not having any success at finding it.

Make sure the Input Device is not set to "Stereo Mix", "Wave Out", "Sum", "What U Hear", or "Loopback". These settings cause Audacity to record a mix of everything. The exact name will depend on the drivers for your sound card.

Thanks 64, you are genius! Somehow the mic input device got reset to stereo mix and that was the problem. I reset to mono and it works like it should. Thanks for steering me to the fix!
