my intention was to write a christmas song in the style of big star. but in the end it became a song about the scottish weather and the parka i got for crimbo. i am sure i am gonna get knocked down when i have the hood up.

oh and i watched Scott of the Antarctic on filmfour. so anyway the song chose it's own direction.

oh and the pick up mic on the guitar caught the dripping tap. still struggling to record electro acoustic plugged in, and blending piezo and directional mic pick ups.

It does have a Big Star feel to it! You're getting a nice tone from your guitar (and I like the reverb), and I'm hearing those suspended chords that I love so much.

I just got out of my parka after removing snow from our driveway and sidewalks for the last couple of hours. It's a balmy 2° F here today, and with 8 inches of new snow from last night. We've gotten almost 3 feet of the stuff since December. Brrr....
