Today, 36 years ago, The Ramones recorded their double live album It's Alive! I have that on vinyl. Now, I realized that the gig/album is (partially 26 minutes, tho..) on YouTube!!  .

I've always loved Ramones. I've found joy, energy, punk rock, and even beautiful and catchy melodies! Here we go...Gabba, Gabba hey!!!

It's a brilliant thing, I think their best recording.  I had the vinyl double album back in the late 70's and I used it to teach myself guitar.  I would play along to the whole set (although I could never really keep up with Joey Ramone).

Life now seems to be increasingly a long string of 20 years ago, 30 years ago, 40 years ago...  Like watching the 1979 Top of the Pops and realising that the girls in Legs and Co are now probably around 60 years old.
