Man you must be proud of this one. Solo is a little short, but the overall prod is fantastic. Great tone!

This is a really good song, well performed. You should be proud, and your voice sounds good in my ears.

To Blooby re:

......That is not me singing on "For the Summer."  I have an acoustic duo with an old friend (I mean he's old...not me).  He is aptly named Lurker on this site. He sings so I don't have to unleash my aural poison on the masses.......

Dammit!  Oh well, the comedy is good!

I like this a lot, sounds real good for a "demo".  especially you playing everything yourself.  Your drumming is damn fine, then the solo comes in, yeah, thats a beauty.  I like the vocals, what do I know, all my vocals are pitchy.  This sounds real good to me.  Great, catchy song.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

sounding good to me, vox somehow reminds me of a mix of buffalo tom and big star.

i don't have a br800 tho i have had the honour of singing into geir's, so cant help with which patches to use. but my best advice is to try them all until you find one that suits, or one that almost suits and tweak that patch til you get the sound you want. but imho opinion your vox sound fab.

Really enjoyed this tune!  The drums and vocals are exceptionally impressive.  Has an all around pro sound!

2nd song of yours tonight, Picker, and once again an absolute beaut.
Honestly, both tracks sound as though they've been lifted from a commercial album, and I'm listening through laptop speakers. I'm not sure how you're recording these, but I wouldn't change anything if you can get this level of production from your MO. Another great upload. Well done.  8)

Quote from: Picker on December 30, 2013, 03:57:40 PMDoes anyone have tips on thickening vocals on the boss?
There are some effects that can be used (with caution), but my best advice is to just double the vocals (sing it twice) and keep one take low in the mix. I you don't want to do that, AndyR gave some good advice earlier. Copy the vocal track, keep the original dry and without compression. Compress the hell out of the copy and bring it up in the mix to your liking. (I'lll see if I can find a link to that ....)
