A quickie for Lou Reed!

One day after he died, there was a spontaneous concert of hommage to him, here in Lisbon (actually 3 streets away from where I live!). By the time I got home I was already thinking on covering this song, IMO a very beautiful and mature love song, and probably my favourite VU song,

I recorded the guitar in 1 take, but the singing was a lot more difficult. According to the internet, Nico had to record the song several times before they accepted the track. For me, it took me almost one month...

The attentive listener will recognize the mBR drums! Back to basics on this one! The only thing out of common is that I bounced a track with the Jazz Kit and another with the 808 and it gave me a richer drums sound.


So... nevermind the bollocks, here's dasilvasings....
