I find it interesting that you say "my branch" instead of a branch. It didn't sound right for some reason, but I think I get it and it makes sense the more I think about it. Sorry for bringing up such a minor point (but here I think it gives a subtle but important weight to the lyric.)

That opening riff is killer. It's a little heavy on the cymbals, I think, but it might just be my oversensitive ears to the highs. I do like the drums and how they play with the guitars. Speaking of the guitars, they sound like you've got a slight chorus effect on them with some panning on the effect. It's a good sound and I like it however you managed it.

Pretty cool song and it's nice to hear something a bit harder than normal... I've been listening to my own music and need a nice dose of heavy to balance it out.
