Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
Dave Bride

Song from Phil Spector's Christmas album (when they were still called albums) back in 1963.
Originally sung by Darlene Love, later covered by U2.
Great wall of sound production by Spector when he was a revolutionary record producer before he became a convicted murderer.

Acoustic gtr, strat, bass, drums, organ, bell synth patch, background vox by myself and Grace.

Merry Christmas

Very nice... well done. Sounded like you really enjoyed making that. Sounds spontaneous and fun - i didn't know the original but sounds really lovely.

Phil would be proud!

I wonder how his xmas is going?  He could try to organise some cross dressing "Shirelles" to create a San Quentin Wall of Sound!

cheers,

Ian

I work alot this time of year and I love to play this tune & I really enjoyed your cover. You really got that vintage sound and even though it's been said, many times, many ways...I really dig those bells brother!
