This is my cover version of a traditional Turkish Folk Song. The rhythm may sound a little bit weird. It is a 9 8 rhythm. A very popular rhythm for Turkish songs. The name of the song is "Kiz Sen geldin Cerkesten".
I used Boss Micro BR for recording the song and played yamaha Pacifica 112VM electric guitar.
For the rhythm guitar I used the effect no 04 Twangstr, and for the solo guitar I used the effect no 48 SmoothLd

Nice guitar playing and an interesting rhythm. Did you use a drum machine or something for timekeeping? I can hear something tapping out eighth notes and there's a curious rhythmic sound on the 1 and 5 beats (I think). At first, I thought you were strumming muted strings to produce those sounds. But it almost sounds like it has a reversed envelope?

Bravo, Nice catch 64Guitars,
I couldn't find the 9/8 rhythm for recording. Unfortunately, Boss Micro Br doesn't have a built in 9/8 drum rhythm, so I used the built-in 8/8 metronome rhythm. Tapping on the eight notes coming from 8/8 metronome and I know it doesn't match the 9/8 rhythm. But I need something for timekeeping. After recording, I turned the metronome volume down.
I wish I could play the song over a 9/8 drum rhythm.

Cheers
Tolga

Welcome, fabulous first post.
A really interesting tune. I love the rhythm, playing 9/8 to a 8/8 metronome must have been hard.

You could listen to this whilst you were playing (via headphones ha ha) - although you probably wouldn't be able to hear much of what you were actually playing  ???

Maybe you could export it and loop it, then import it into the BR - just as a guide  ??? ???

just a thought - probably not a very good one at that!
